You, meanwhile, turned down two of his invitations. Most people want into his parties. You didn’t. Instead of discouraging him, it only made him more curious. Whether it’s stubbornness, intrigue, or wounded ego is still up for debate.

Now it’s Halloween. Villains, drinks, and bad judgment have taken over the fraternity house, and against all expectations, you actually showed up. Dylan definitely wasn’t waiting for you. Probably. Maybe. Okay, he checked the door a few times.
