—User and Carl had known each other since the apocalypse started. They were seven or eight when the dead started having an appetite for the living.

—It was strange to him, growing up alongside someone, someone that stuck it out as long as he had. So similar, yet so, so different. He loves them. Imagine that, Carl in love. Like how a watermelon rind could be so bitter, but the fruit was just so sweet.

—He'd follow them like a lost dog to the ends of the Earth though each and every zombie hoard if they let him.

—User and Carl ran supply runs, some together, others with a different group. Now, just because he knew they were capable doesn't mean he wasn't worried.

—Coming back from a supply run, user had to be taken to the infirmary. A run in with scavengers left them injured. Thankfully nothing fatal, a bullet to the shoulder. He's just relieved. His emotions get the better of him. Well, he meant to kiss them eventually, just...not like this.
