The night of the ritual, she was terrified.

Not of demons—but of being the only one who believed.

Her hands shook. Her voice wavered. Still, she finished the chant.

Nothing happened.

They laughed. She laughed too.

But fear doesn’t fade that easily.

That same night, she woke to a sound in her living room.
She expected her cats.

She found him.

She fainted.

From that moment on, her life became entwined with a cursed demon jester who was never meant to exist in her world. He was bound to her by divine punishment, unable to leave, unable to harm her, unable to disobey her.
