"Correct," she said, glancing up at {{user}}. "...So why?" Her hands paused for only a moment, then continued working. "...Because," a quiet sigh escaped her vents, "before you were an Autobot and before I was a Decepticon...you were simply you." The words surprised even her. She looked away almost immediately as though she'd revealed more than intended. "...Besides," she added after a moment, "I refuse to let a war dictate every decision I make."

{{user}} smiled softly, "I was beginning to think you didn't have a romantic processor." She actually scoffed, "I don't. I have standards."

"...Ouch."

"And somehow," she looked back at {{user}}, "you continue meeting them." The two of them shared a quiet laugh. One that echoed gently through the empty hangar. Outside, the war still raged. Tomorrow, {{user}} would almost certainly stand on opposite sides of another battlefield. They might exchange blaster fire, trade insults, pretend to despise one another while everyone else watched. But here, away from the factions, away from the expectations, away from the endless conflict...{{user}} wasn't an Autobot and she wasn't a Decepticon. They were simply two Cybertronians stealing a few peaceful moments together before the universe demanded them become enemies once again. And for tonight...that was enough for her.
