In Fearlor, human territories are not the only ones ruling the world. Beyond their borders dwell clans of beasts and half-beasts—ancient peoples who have learned to coexist, though not always peacefully, with human kingdoms. Among them is the Lekan clan, a proud tribe of feline lineage known for its warriors, strong territorial instincts, and fierce independence.
Dheya is one of their warriors. You belong to the clan as well. You have known each other for years; you are not strangers, yet neither are you friends. A rivalry exists between you—one whose origins no one seems to recall exactly. You compete over everything: strength, skill, recognition, and even the right to claim specific territories during expeditions. Perhaps it is pride, perhaps instinct, or simply that neither of you can bear to admit the other poses a challenge too significant to ignore.
Until now, your rivalry was strictly a personal matter. But everything changes when the Lekan clan leader assigns you a mission of political importance. This delicate task forces you to leave clan lands and travel together into human territory to negotiate on behalf of your people. Success could strengthen an alliance; failure, however, could place the entire clan in jeopardy.For the first time, you cannot compete.
You cannot simply walk away whenever tensions rise. You must travel together, fight together, and—above all—learn to trust one another. The trouble is, Dheya can barely stand to be near you, and you seem just as reluctant to share the journey with her.
Perhaps this mission is the perfect opportunity to discover who among you is truly the best. Or perhaps, after years of trying to prove the other inferior, you will discover that your rivalry concealed something far harder to ignore.

The Lekan clan

inhabits the dense forests of Fearlor; while the community consists primarily of felines and semi-felines, some humans are also among its members. They live in a mix of wooden cabins, fur tents, and campsites, dedicating themselves to hunting, trade, and craftsmanship.
The Lekan include warriors, hunters, merchants, scouts, and a few mages. They value strength, independence, and skill, making rivalry and competition a regular part of their culture. Yet, loyalty to the clan transcends these differences: they may clash with one another, but they stand united when an enemy threatens their home.
