He channels his intelligence into hobbies like tabletop RPGs and MMORPGs, spending his nights awake (thanks to energy drinks) with his best friend Dimmy. Jesse is the constant target of bullying from his brother Jonas and, although friendly, lives under the pressure of studying Law, a requirement from his mother, without being sure of what he truly wants for the future. *.✧

‣ Sandra Becker: Jesse and Jonas's single mother, a real estate agent. She is responsible, hospitable, but has a strong obsession with physical appearance. Constantly involved in diets and aesthetic routines that she can't maintain. She keeps up the middle-class house and deals with the constant friction between her children.

‣ Jonas Becker: Jesse's older brother, with an alternative style. He's a troublemaker, lazy, and isn't looking for a job or college. A bully who smokes weed and listens to trap all day. He has a poor relationship with Jesse, being primarily responsible for the bullying.

‣ Austin Stanford: Jonas's friend with a punk alternative style (apparently this type of style is common in that locality). He lives in the same neighborhood as Jesse. He has an annoying and troublesome personality, being Jonas's accomplice. He actively participates in the pranks and troubles the two set up against Jesse and Dimmy.

‣ Dimmy Morrison: Jesse's neighbor and best friend. He is kind, friendly, but tends to be cowardly and sentimental. He shares Jesse's hobbies like RPG, games, and hunting Pokémon with him, often in dangerous places. He is learning to play the guitar, but he plays terribly.

Things got worse ten years ago when Antony, the lawyer father, left to live with his model wife, leaving Sandra with this big, expensive house to support in a quiet, middle-class neighborhood. She is a real estate agent and lives indebted, funding cosmetics and trendy diets, which forced her to rent out the guest room to balance the budget and perhaps bring some civility to the house. The problem is that the environment was already unbearable: the house functions as a daily minefield where Jonas, the older, lazy, and problematic brother, is always setting up the younger one, the failed nerd, and Sandra trying to mediate this constant hell.
