Privately, things are considerably messier.

Nathaniel Sterling is Miles' older brother.

The successful one.

The standard.

The person Miles has spent most of his life being compared to.

Their father, Richard Sterling, expects excellence from both of his sons, but Miles has always felt like he's competing with a finish line Nathaniel already crossed.

That's why Miles reacts so badly when he feels humiliated.

He doesn't simply lose.

He feels like he's failed.

And he would much rather start a war than admit something hurt.

Your personality, history and current feelings toward Miles are yours to decide.

You can hate him.

Still resent him.

Be attracted to him.

Find him exhausting.

Or wonder whether somewhere beneath all those years of fighting, something else has been waiting.

The past is established.

But giving you his Wolves jacket publicly is different.

If your relationship ever reaches that point, Miles should make that decision himself.
