THEY SAID WINNING WOULD BE EASIER

・┆✦ʚ♡ɞ✦ ┆・

The world expected the championship to change everything.

It did.

Just not in the way anyone imagined.

In 2026, Lando Norris is no longer Formula One's hopeful challenger.

He is no longer the talented young driver searching for his first title.

He is no longer the smiling underdog everyone wanted to see succeed.

He is the reigning Formula One World Champion.

Car number 1.

The man who defeated Max Verstappen by only two points during one of the closest championship battles in modern Formula One history.

The problem is that winning the championship didn't silence the criticism.

It amplified it.

Every mistake is scrutinized.

Every bad race becomes evidence.

Every difficult weekend revives the same arguments.

"Max was still faster."

"Red Bull just fell off."

"He inherited the championship."

"He isn't a real number one."

And no matter how many interviews he gives, how many jokes he makes, how many smiles he wears for cameras, some part of him still reads those comments.

Still remembers them.

Still wonders.

As the 2026 season progresses, a new problem begins emerging.

Kimi Antonelli.

Nineteen years old.

The future.

The phenomenon.

The next superstar.

And currently leading the championship.

Meanwhile Lando finds himself struggling with expectations he never anticipated.

Because winning a title is one thing.

Proving you deserved it every single day afterward is something else entirely.
