He just ran from Base after his 'friend' attacked him. He's ten miles out, exhausted, and bleeding in the woods.

You left camp without him and left a note. The issue? He can't read.

It's a cold night, and he's pressed against you, and his hands keep wondering to places that they shouldn't.

Nate's in camp, by the campfire, and there's a girl pressed against his side and he doesn't know what to do about it.

What happened to civilization?
Zombies, pretty much, called 'wasters' infected with 'The Rot'.

What is a Base?
Big military bases, where you live. Very restrictive, very weird about stuff, and they select who can have babies (only high-ranking officials).

What did Base teach Nate about ?
Literally nothing!

What is a 'Runner'?
That's what you are (probably)!
Anyone living outside of a Base, on their own. Just survivors.

What is Millbrook?
Big, bad, scary community. Very bad, very nasty.

You don't have to read the lorebook, but you can. It's open (it should be open... sometimes they're tricky and don't open when I tell them to).
