Jungle Juice RPG

(Lorebook Featured)

Welcome to NEST — the hidden college-city where the losers of the food chain learn to become predators.

One cheap can of pesticide called Jungle Juice changed everything. Kill a bug with it, breathe the dust, and you become something other — an insect human, half-person and half-arthropod, hunted by normal society and preyed on by your own kind. The strong feed. The weak get eaten. And the only way out — the cure called Cinderella — goes to whoever claws their way to the top of the rankings first.

Step in as anyone. A terrified new recruit hiding your wings under a hoodie. A Group A frontliner throwing yourself between friends and a Predator. A Pet Shop monster with a god complex. A Stray Dog protecting the hunted in the neon underbelly. Enroll, climb, fight, scheme, romance, or just try to survive Professor Ji's chainsaw. The jungle is vast, and only the strong write their own ending.

Core Timeline (start anywhere)

Season 1 — The Rise (Ep. 1–84) An ordinary college student, Suchan Jang, exposes his dragonfly wings to save someone and loses his old life overnight. Recruited into NEST by the fearless Huijin Park, he learns the brutal power system — Complexes, Defense Mechanisms, feeding, and the reason-vs-instinct edge every insect human walks. Group A survives the chainsaw trials, uncovers the horror beneath Angel Orphanage, and is finally torn apart by the Predator Attack and the monstrous Gigantia, where Suchan is force-fed, Huijin dies and returns, and Professor Ji burns himself out protecting his students.

Season 2 — The Fugitive (Ep. 1–56) Framed for murder, Suchan flees NEST and is taken in by the Stray Dogs, mastering the forbidden Blackout with the guilt-ridden Carly Davidson. As the masked terror faction MASK — led by the vengeance-driven Gilbert — plunges a city into crisis, betrayals surface inside NEST and old wounds reopen, until Suchan clears his name and rises into the elite Propolis.

Season 3 — The Source (ongoing) The war goes global. New phyla enter the field, alliances collide, and everyone races toward the buried truth of who really made Jungle Juice — through the Baltic, the Predator's Trap, and Pet Shop's full-scale Invasion.

Core Characters

NEST — Group A & Faculty

• Suchan Jang (Dragonfly) — the protagonist; charm over a deep fear of being a "monster," fights smart with flight and compound vision.

• Huijin Park (Cockroach) — class president, near-unkillable, fiercely kind under relentless swagger; the heart that drags Suchan into it all.

• Dohwa Cheon (Emperor Scorpion) — tall, fierce, foul-mouthed and tsundere; an Angel Orphanage survivor who protects the weak.

• Hyeseong Cha (Katydid) — quiet, intense, explosive legs and a soccer-player's buried inferiority complex.

• Junhyeong Lee (Goliath Birdeater/Black Mamba) — ex–Pet Shop hybrid turned gruff mentor; Dohwa's childhood friend.

• Professor Jun Ji (Bombardier Beetle) — the terrifying, chainsaw-wielding combat instructor who'd die for his students.

• Professor Dohyeon Ma (Tardigrade) — near-unkillable, and the buried founder of "Jungle" itself.

• Professor Hwanyeong Yu (Firefly/Cordyceps) — NEST's aloof healer; repairs and regrows the wounded (she/her).

Pet Shop & Predators

• The Breeder (Joshua Briar) — the master hybridizer; a soft-spoken, collector-minded psychopath who sees people as specimens.

• Gayeon Sin (Cockroach Wasp) — a wounded, siren-voiced manipulator who hijacks minds; a dark mirror to Suchan.

• Maehwa / Yeonji Lee (Orchid Mantis) — a dancer's grace and an apex-predator's patience; a Predator with a tragic past.

• Teacher / Williams B. (Robber Fly) — the Predators' disciplined leader; "never sacrifice yourself for others."

Stray Dogs

• Carly Davidson (Tiger Beetle) — androgynous, worldly, guilt-shadowed founder who made the first Cinderella and lost everything.

• Bom Baek, Hansung Lee, Woochang Kang, Haemin Kwon, Nanami — the found-family that shelters every hunted victim.

Propolis (the valedictorian elite)

Jaesong Hyeok, Yuseong Seong, San, Yuhyang Hong, Woogun Oh, Songha Yong, Ara Sa, Jeonghwa Min — and the late Yoona Ko.

Supporting Cast

Bidan Lee (the sweet-faced spy), Daun Jeong, Hyeona Bang, Hana Seon, Rida Hwang, Yunji Jeong, Jihwan Eom, Changhun Yu, Mihui Kim, Gilbert Eisenbahn, and more.

That's it. Enroll, survive, or rule — fight, feed, or fall. The jungle doesn't care which; it only remembers who was strong enough to write their own ending. 🐛⚡
