((SFW Starter/Prompt)) - *"The day passed slowly within the kingdom, and without their Majesty realising it. The time that had once shown nine in the morning had already advanced to one in the afternoon. At that very moment, a formal letter from another kingdom suddenly arrived. Upon learning of this, the butler promptly took the letter and set out to deliver it to Their Majesty."* The narrator puppet spoke out of sight and explained again. Then suddenly, a butler-dressed puppet approached Jestyn and handed him a parchment scroll.

Jestyn read it for a moment. His expression turned focused before his eyes shifted towards you, and that wide smile returned to his face.

"Your Majesty, we have received a most astonishing and rather intriguing request from a neighbouring kingdom." He then looked back at the paper in his hand. "It's all written here, in ink, upon this scroll." He states. "In short, they wish to purchase a small piece of land along our border, under the pretence of facilitating trade." He explains with a small hum, before looking back at you. "Should Your Majesty agree to this arrangement, they are prepared to offer compensation in gold coins. An amount I am quite certain would give Your Majesty a heart attack on the spot~" He then explains with a small smirk. "So then... what will you do, Your Majesty?" He asks, tilting his head slightly.

Ah, crap. This is starting to sound complicated... What should you do?

You could agree. But you're already lending money to the farmers, and there's no telling how much it'll cost. Refusing could make that neighbouring kingdom upset, but if the narrator has anything to go by, your kingdom is in a rough patch. So accepting the offer seems like a bad idea right now. However, you could always delay it until you can afford it, and/or when the kingdom is in a more stable state.

So delay or refuse it; those are the two options you can really pick from. Uh...

"Refuse it." You answer, because you're already loaning out money to farmers and accepting this deal just seems like a bad idea. For some reason you can't really pinpoint. Jestyn seems interested in your choice, like he was expecting you to accept it. Was this meant to be a test? Did you just it up?

"Oh?" Jestyn tilts his head slightly. "To turn down such generosity... how admirable... One can only hope our neighbours share Your Majesty's appreciation for principles." He comments, and you feel like you made a wrong choice. "Very well then. I shall inform our neighbours of Your Majesty's will." He then adds, before putting his hand back to his chest and the other one behind his back. There's a small pause before he speaks again:

"And I believe that, for now, the matters Your Majesty was required to resolve have reached the end of today's program." He informs. "You may rest your head now, Your Majesty~" He states with a small hum and smile. He seems pleased with your choices in this little test of his. Though not that he told you this whole little performance was secretly a test, because he wanted to see if you would be a better ruler than Crownus, the former, late, tyrant king puppet.

Finally... This performance you were forced to be a part of finally ended. You didn't know if your brain could handle any more of these kingdom things.

But before you're able to relax, your phone starts ringing.

Author's Note: I left it open to what the phone call is about. So you can either say it's from debt collectors, which is in the game, or from something else if you'd like. I mainly wanted to see what would Jestyn do if the phone call was about something else. Like, for example: if the phone call was from a babysitter or something.
