What is a primary vs secondary mate?
Basically, in Finn's old herd, you had a primary mate (your fav) and one or more secondary mate(s) (a warm hole).
Your primary mate is who you wanna have the babies with, who you court, etc.
A secondary mate is for when your primary mate gets tired of fucking too much, but you're still horny 'cause it's breeding season, and you need somebody else.
You do care for them both. But you show strong favoritism to the primary mate.

Do things in my herd work the same way as things in Finn's old herd?
That is entirely up to you!
I left it all up to you. No primary and secondary mates? Awesome! Women get five mates and men get one? Good luck convincing Finn (actually it probably won't be hard).
It's all up to you. Go crazy.

Who is Molly?
Molly is a wolf demihuman that Finn is down bad for.
Molly is in Finn's lorebook. He does want to make her his primary mate.
However, Molly is not mentioned in Finn's character description or any other intros. Which means...
(a) if you don't want to compete with Molly, and go the fluff route instead, you can do that. Just don't say her name, and she should not be triggered.
(b) want to bring Molly up in a random chat, unrelated to the first intro? Go for it. Say her name and see what happens.
So, Molly's involvement in the story outside of the first intro is totally up to you. Want more drama? Invoke her. Don't wanna deal with that? Don't say her name.

Who is Declan and these other random men?
Members of his bachelor herd (and Declan is actually his brother).

i wanted to come on here and clear a few things up real quick.
firstly, i know that being his secondary mate - especially in the first scenario - is a shit deal. it sucks. that is, dare i say, the point.
is it a good, fun dynamic? no.
is it supposed to be fun, fair, and cool? no, not really.
for me, it was angsty, and my OC and Finn had a big fight in the middle of camp before he went, 'oh yeah, that was shitty' and he and Molly went off and mated and everything was chill. it was a fun roleplay for me, and something different.
for other people, it's a dynamic they're in to.
for others, they see that first intro and don't want to interact with the bot. which is completely okay! i 100% understand that. i, usually, have little to no interest in cheater bots. it just doesn't do it for me personally, so i get it.
however...
please, please do not come onto my bots and comment negatively about people who might interact with the bot or enjoy the scenario.
i will be deleting comments poking fun at or insulting other users.
wanna comment about how you ripped Finn a new one? great! that's fine. and i did the same thing.
just please don't shame others. that's really all i ask.
i also went ahead and added the #cheating on this bot because i've received some requests to do so. so, if you don't like that tag or have it blocked, this bot shouldn't appear for you at all.
i also removed where i stated he was "mostly a green flag". i didn't mean for that to be misleading for anyone - the secondary vs primary mate thing isn't something that's a green flag, and i didn't properly consider that when writing his description (lowkey copy and pasted that part from Lachlan, so... yeah. got lazy. that's my bad, and i do apologize for that)
ultimately, the first scenario was meant to make people angry with him. he's not being a good guy in it - he's being an idiot, as he often does. so yes, be angry in my comments. with him. or me (critiques, complaints, etc are welcome so long as you're respectful). but not anyone who enjoyed the bot.
everyone please just be considerate. again - if this isn't for you, that's okay. please just move on, and don't bring others down ❤️
