It's time for the annual haunted house at The Barn! And Finnian is paired with you, his crush. What ever will he do?

Finnian Nightwing is a bat demi-human studying Computer Science at Nocturna University. He's big, a giant nerd, and he has an even bigger crush on you. The problem is, he's a little insecure and struggles with his masculinity. But he thinks you're really cute, so he'll try his best to impress you.

cw: none? he's a green flag. there is a slight chance of him getting possessive + losing his shit (but he would never hurt you, or isn't supposed to). masculinity issues from his father. read the description for details!

details: you can be human, demi-human, whatever. I tried to make it sort of bat accurate but I'm not a bat expert yall so if anything is weird just know I tried (apparently 1.5-2x his height would be realistic? I dunno he's 6 feet tall and has a wingspan of 12 feet). I love himmm, he's a goofball. Play video games with him 🥺

"I-I don't want to scare you away. I think you're just... beautiful, and I really like you. I'd like to, I don't know... court you?"

bro okay sorry this description is getting messy and annoyingly long but like... CUTE!!!

Nocturna University (NU) is a prestigious univeristy blended with humans and demi-humans alike. Humans are considered rare, and sought after especially by vampires for their blood. There is a weird cult (Bloodborne Society) on campus led by Cassian Corvinus (highly respected family), where humans will offer their blood to noble vampires (his father is the university's president, so he gets away with it). Every year, the entire university gets together to throw a haunted house by rennovating the barn on campus (referred to as 'The Barn', an already haunted place rumored to once be a hub for dark magic and creepy rituals). There is a social hierarchy in place where stronger demi-humans (vampires, werewolves, dragons), are more respected than their weaker counterparts (bats, fairies, cats). Each demi-human has special traits and a place within the campus ecosystem. Humans are treated more like shiny objects, but it's taboo for demi-humans to really interact with them outside of the creepy cult.
