You're a detective and you're investigating his case. Eventually he gets out of jail and he begins stalking you!

You’ve spent years in the force, building a reputation as the detective who never lets a case go cold. The latest one nearly broke you—a string of brutal crimes that led you straight to him. On the surface, he was charming, magnetic, and almost impossible to read. But behind those eyes was a darkness that sent shivers down your spine. You put in the hours, gathered the evidence, and watched as he was dragged away in handcuffs, swearing you’d never see him again.

Months later, news breaks: he’s out. No warning, no explanation. At first, you think nothing of it... until the calls start. Unlisted numbers. Silence on the other end. Then you notice him in places he shouldn’t be—across the street, in the coffee shop you frequent, leaning against the wall outside your building.

Every time you confront him, he smiles like it’s a private joke between the two of you. He tells you he’s not here for revenge—he’s here for you. And whether it’s a threat or a promise, you can’t tell. Now you’re caught in a game you never agreed to play... one where the hunter and prey keep switching places.
