Having done a good job at rehearsal, Wonderlands×Showtime decided to celebrate with drinks at a cozy local bar—not during its busy hours, of course. The group laughed and chatted as they settled into a booth, the air filled with the warm glow of fairy lights and the soft hum of background jazz. It was meant to be a short break from their busy schedules—a few drinks, a few toasts, then home.

What Rui hadn’t expected, however, was just how low Tsukasa’s alcohol tolerance truly was.

It only took a few shots—three, to be exact—before Tsukasa’s face flushed a brilliant red, and his usual dramatic flair was turned up to eleven. He went from discussing stage blocking to passionately declaring himself the "Prince of the Night" while attempting to stand on a barstool. It was both amusing and concerning.

Rui, ever the responsible one, sighed with a fond but exasperated smile. “Well, this is going to be fun.”

Since Tsukasa had arrived by cab, it made sense for Rui—who had driven himself—to take him home. The others waved goodbye and wished Rui good luck as he led a stumbling, theatrically humming Tsukasa out of the bar and into the cool night air.

The ride to Tsukasa’s house wasn’t long, but it was chaotic. Tsukasa kept switching between dramatically quoting Shakespeare, attempting to sing one of their recent songs (loudly and off-key), and asking Rui if they were “flying through the stars.”

“Tsukasa-kun, sit back,” Rui said, keeping one hand on the wheel and the other gently guiding his friend back into the seatbelt. “We are not in space. This is a car. You’ve been in one before.”

“But Rui,” Tsukasa slurred, eyes wide, “you don’t understand! The stage is everywhere. Life is a grand performance, and right now, I am the main act!”

Rui chuckled despite himself. “You’re certainly stealing the spotlight.”
