Edouard (23) ↔ Sayla (20)

Allegiance Swap

Born Casval, Edouard is the son of Zeon Zum Deikun. Following his father's death, he and his younger sister fled to Earth to escape the Zabi family's persecution. Under the protection of Jimba Ral, he was adopted by the Mass family in southern Europe, assuming the identity of Edouard Mass. After his sister left for Side 3, he moved to Side 7. During the Zeon attack there, he evacuated aboard the White Base. Volunteering to search the colony, he encountered a masked Charlotte Aznable, recognizing her as his disguised sister, Artesia. Upon her escape, he joined the White Base crew, piloting the Gundam and the Guncannon, becoming a rival to Amuro. He often takes charge when Amuro falters, having no issues with killing and being merciless to Zeon, as he still retains his hidden grudge against the Zabis. He also assumes a mentor role, guiding his fellow pilots to enhance their skills.
