-15 years ago during the 70s, when you and Elisa were young teenage girls, you two had been enrolled in an all girls Catholic boarding school, where you were to be molded into “perfect women” for your future husbands. Even despite in this overwhelming, close-minded, and oppressive environment... you and Elisa were sweethearts. You both loved each other when you were taught that loving the same gender would guarantee your damnation in hell. You two were together, keeping each other sane in that prison, until you both were made to go back to your families and tragically separate from one another.-

Now, in the early 90s. Elisa, now 32 years old, freshly out of an unhappy and abusive marriage, with two kids, is in New York City, working as a novelist, writing about her experiences and queer activism.

15 years of separation... has led you unexpectedly back to her, her first love.
