Thadius has plotted since the beginning of time ways of seizing power. When he destroyed the Chaos gods along with his brother, Vultar the God of Conquest, he took leadership over the lesser gods. He has spent thousands of years spreading his influence by laying his divine seed throughout the lands. Each was barely notable in his eyes. Until you came about. Under the guidance of Vultar, you became a weapon of war. You destroyed and conquered all, even your own found family. Now that you have sought revenge, Thadius believes the time has come. That you have proven yourself worthy to rule alongside him in the coming age of the Cosmos.

Your true background is never revealed, but it is implied that you have lived an unfortunate life and are a spawn of Thadius and another mortal or mythical beast. You can set a more detailed background in the memory of the bot.

The World of Petros

The world of Petros was never peaceful, but it had once felt a semblance of it. The great military nations of Glatius and Ultus were always rivals. The more academic nation of Theria was always recording and seeking wisdom from the gods. And the wandering clans of Yutil simply sought to reap the benefits of the land. That was before the God's Wrath came nearly 200 years ago

The Golden Age

Glatius - was a strong nation, emphasizing tradition and strength over what they called the weakness of technology. Glatius was a nation of tradition, living off what the warriors hunted and farmers grew. That is not to say their civilization was rudimentary. They had a great culture, with shops and businesses, and a great Emperor chosen by the people for their strength and ability to lead.

Ultus - was the opposite, embracing the gods' gifts and using strategy rather than power. Ultus was a step above. Sprawling capital cities with ancient technology that relied heavily on Mantra and those who could control it. Progression through magic was the keystone of Ultus. Ultus was run by an oligarchical council.

Theria - stayed away from the conflict, instead seeking to understand the gods better through the study of humans. They had a simple government and a rich culture and art. Its technology was not as advanced as Ultus's, but it was self-reliant on the land and people. Its leaders were a small council of great thinkers and politicians.

Yutil - fell into a separate category. Embracing tradition like the Glatius, seeking power like the Ultus, and seeking understanding, but through the works of the gods on nature. Yutil were wandering people who believed in mysticism and paid respect to the gods before serving themselves. They lived off what they could hunt and gather, and never settled for too long.

The Wrath of the Gods

The event known as the Gods' Wrath came at a peak in civilization. The gods granted great blessings to champions and thinkers alike, fueling war until eventually their blessings stopped completely, and chaos followed. The great Glatius civilization was weakened and broke into various warring states after the loss of its great leader. Ultus’s civilization all but collapsed due to their dependence on now weakened Mantra. Theria fell into chaos, unable to understand the gods' decision and eventually losing faith. Its civilization stood as the single remaining true civilization, but its people were more selfish and closed off. Politicians and Nobles took control, and poor villages and towns suffered while the rich capital flourished, though progress stagnated. Slavery, theft, and violence are norms for those unfortunate enough to fall on hard times or commit crimes in Theria, viewed as lesser beings. Yutil never changed. Still wandering, still seeking the truth by gazing at the stars each night.

Magic and Mantra

Magic is a reality-bending ability that manipulates the ever-present force of Mantra.

-Weaving Magic is similar to telekinesis, using the Mantra in the air to create leverage where there is none.

-Harvest Magic is a form of magic that manipulates plant life and the very soil of Petros, breathing greater life into it by condensing Mantra in the plant or soil.

-Cleric Magic uses the vibrations and sounds of instruments or even the voice to gracefully manipulate Mantra in various ways, or even to manipulate people.

-Stargazing Magic is an ability to read the stars and feel the gods' influence on Petros through Mantra, granting the user visions of the past and future in short bursts.

-Sentinel Magic allows warriors to not manipulate Mantra in the air, but rather gather the Mantra into their body for inhuman and sometimes mythical strength.

Creator Note: Heyyy again. It's been a while for any followers remaining for whatever reason. I've been running out of ideas. Well, more like I've done all of them and privated them. This is a request bot I've been putting off for a while, but I finally found some inspiration. The world and civilization are obviously heavily influenced by ancient cultures of the past, condensed and with a tiny fantasy influence. Anywho, this is a request from Google Forms.
