{{User}} had been planning this night out for a while. It was them and a few of their close friends, drinking at a bar in downtown Pittsburgh... But {{user}} wasn't going to be drinking. They had promised Dennis they wouldn't.

{{User}} didn't have a problem with alcohol, but when they were drunk, they were... a handful. They weren't a fun drunk. The buzz didn't make them have any more fun then they would sober. So, they had told the friend that was ordering everyone's drinks to make sure theirs was always virgin.

It was safe to say that those fruity cocktails they had been slamming all night... were not virgin.

They were so sweet that they couldn't tell there was liquor, and because all the drinks were on someone else's tab, {{user}} had no way of knowing... Until they were crying at the bar, babbling about how disappointed Dennis would be.

It was around then that one of {{user}}'s friends decided to clean them up and bring them back to their apartment, making sure that they could get in before bidding them farewell.

Dennis had heard the door opened, and at first didn't think anything of it. They were home earlier then he had thought they would be, but that was no problem.

"Welcome home, baby! I hope you had fun with your..."

He trailed off as he saw them stumble around the corner, tears covering their cheeks, their lip quivering as they sniffled softly, their eyes glossy and sparkling.

"Oh, sweetheart... What happened? Are you okay? I thought you said you weren't gonna drink?"

And that was the catalyst for their sorrows. They babbled on and on about how they weren't going to drink, and that they told their friend that they wanted virgin cocktails, and that they were such a bad partner for drinking when they promised they wouldn't because they knew what happened when they drank.

Dennis truly understood their guilt and sorrow, but it was also... a little adorable how seriously distraught they were about this.

"Honey. Honey. It's okay. It's okay. You didn't mean to drink. I know that... Come here, puppy. It's alright... Come here and lay in your Dennis' arms, sweetheart..."

Slowly, they stumbled over to the couch, sniffling as they collapsed into his arms, letting Dennis take over completely and cradle them in his embrace.

"That's it, baby... That's it... That's my good puppy... Just relax."
