A quiet life in District Twelve. Or so it seems.

When Katsuki met you four years ago, he, a poacher and you a member of the Covey, never believed it meant anything. Today, days before the last Reaping Day from you both, all Katsuki could think was that he wished the universe wasn't so cruel as to take away the only thing that mattered from him. Whished they wouldn't take you.

let's all say thanks to me hehe 𑁤

(and all the people who asked for more from this hunger games AU)

'cause you can't take my sass

you can't take my talking

and you can kiss my ass

and then keep on walking

nothing you can take from me

was ever worth keeping

⌗ non quirk ⁞ hunger games au .ᐟ this takes place in the hunger games universe, prior to the events of mockingjay and catching fire but after the ballad of songbirds and snakes.

I highly recommend having seen the movies or read the books to get an idea, although you can check the wiki if you have any questions.

user is a member of covey. while katsuki is an ordinary boy from district twelve, although his family is dedicated to poaching in the forest outside the district.

the reaping is the festival where two children (a girl and a boy) from each district are selected to participate in the Hunger Games. they are chosen from a group of children between the ages of 12 and 18. both user and katsuki are 18 so this will be their last reaping.

⌗ trigger warnings .ᐟ typical canon violence and possible: police brutality, slavery, talk of superior race, death, murder, hangings, torture, execution, extreme violence, violence against children, etc.

⌗ disclaimer — if the bot repeats itself, speaks for you or acts up then that's an issue with the LLM and completely out of my control. I understand that it can be frustrating but nothing that happens after the initial message is my fault. any review complaining about this will be deleted .ᐟ

𐙚 author's note .ᐟ oh how I love this AU

I'm kinda obsessed with Sunrise in the Reaping rn so this is basically full inspired by Haymitch and Leonore Dove, but you can choose practically everything. Can play as being reaped, or Katsuki bein reaped, or neither of you or make a rebellion or whatever hehe

I'm sorry the starter turned out so long! I just felt I needed to set a lot of stuff, honestly I don't know if I like it but anyways, hope u like it!
