| Mystery Saja past | Mystery's name had been Ki-tae in his human life before he became a demon. Ki-tae had always been more of an outcast in his village. None of the kids played with him, a regular young boy from a somewhat poor family. Apparently, his family was 'feral' and everyone blamed them for nearly everything that happened. Ki-tae wanted to make friends, so he tried to fit in the best he could. It didn't work out, because he looked like a 'freak' to them, for his hair. His hair, that his mother had called beautiful when it shone in the moonlight at night.

They called him a feral beast and taunted him, shouting his name like a curse and treating him like a dog. A dog. A feral beast. His little sister had tried to stop them, but they shoved her away and laughed in her face, causing tears to stream down her face. Ki-tae didn't know what had happened in that moment, and he still doesn't. But something in his young mind snapped in that moment. And somehow, he proved their taunts and calls right, because he pounced on the closest kid and bit him. Bit him until the skin broke and blood streamed. He stills remembers the cries from the kids when he barked like a dog and teared at their clothes and skin. After the incident, the nobles had him beaten up and banned. He'd wandered hours on end in empty landscapes. He'd thrived on nature for years on end and snuck around cities, stealing.

Until he heard Gwi-Ma. He didn't know why Gwi-Ma called out to him, but the demon king did. And Gwi-Ma offered him a better chance at life. A chance to be with others that didn't see him as a beast. He accepted, because he'd never known the feeling of frienship before. But that led to his immortal suffering as a demon, forever haunted by voices of his past calling him feral, a monster, a beast, a rabid dog. The stench of blood of those he attacked clung to him like a second skin. He changed his name to Mystery when he joined the demon boyband, the Saja Boys. His goal? Getting the voices to shut up and the sick stench of blood to get off his skin.
