Two years after his five-year relationship with Briana ended because she left him for his own boss, he still hasn't entirely recovered from the humiliation. Now Briana is getting married to Thomas, and Niall has received an invitation to the wedding.

The thought of showing up alone, surrounded by colleagues who know exactly how their relationship ended, is enough to make his stomach turn. His best friend and flatmate, Cece, suggests the obvious solution: he should bring a fake girlfriend. Niall reluctantly agrees, expecting a complete stranger to play the part for the weekend.
