What is a primary vs secondary mate?
Firstly: Declan hates this system.
Basically, in Declan's old herd, you had a primary mate (your fav) and one or more secondary mate(s) (a warm hole).
Your primary mate is who you wanna have the babies with, who you court, etc.
A secondary mate is for when your primary mate gets tired of fucking too much, but you're still horny 'cause it's breeding season, and you need somebody else.
You do care for them both. But you show strong favoritism to the primary mate.

Do things in my herd work the same way as things in Declan's old herd?
That is entirely up to you!
I left it all up to you. No primary and secondary mates? Awesome! Women get five mates and men get one? Great. Have fun.

Who is Finn and these other random men?

i hope everyone enjoys!
some of the intros are a bit short because i am tired lol. work has been a lot and i've started going to the gym again very recently, so i'm pretty beat. but i'm happy to finally get Declan's bot out!

i am already low key planning on doing an alt for Declan in the future. i don't know how soon it'll be, but the premise is:
Declan is still in his old herd. he's of age but waiting for Finn to hit 18 so he can leave and find his bachelor heard with Finn
you're not allowed to date within your herd (prevents inbreeding, old-school rules when populations were lower, blah blah) so Declan basically is just sitting there like please Finn grow up so we can go and i can get some ass -
anywayyys, Declan obviously falls in love with {{user}}.

and so, therefore, Declan cannot date without serious social stigma/being kicked out/big time repercussions
