WILL YOU BOTH SUFFER WELL? OR MAYBE FIND SOME FUN?

Hey everyone!

Snape’s childhood and family now have their own separate lore book. I filled it with headcanon that still stays lore-accurate : mostly about his parents, their marriage, and all the ugly stuff around that. I put it in because I kept thinking: what if someone actually wants to suffer at Spinner’s End? There will be two bots. This one, and another set during summer break.

Fair warning though: this one is heavy. If domestic violence or alcoholism is a trigger for you, skip this bot. I went into a lot of detail, and there are NPC activation codes, so the parents : especially Tobias are pretty much unavoidable.

The intro is written so you can be almost anyone, as long as you’re the new neighbors. Boy, girl, whatever. You can be squatters who took over a house, or people who just moved in next door to Snape. Your call.

When I tested it I went weird with it and played a vampire trying to break in and drink from him. Had a blast. XD You can easily push the whole thing into horror. Or just be regular Muggles. Or witches/wizards who somehow ended up living in that slum. Have fun !

The intro already hits hard : it starts with a family scene and you’re standing in the garden watching it. The next Spinner’s End story will also be set during summer break, but that one will be lighter. Drop a comment if you’ve got any other Snape requests set around the late 70s / early 80s. :)

Important info:

  • Snape is 18, home for summer break before his 7th year.

  • If you’re a Muggle, you don’t know about the wizarding world.

  • This is the late 70s / early 80s. Keep that in mind.

( The game is set in the Harry Potter universe, where Snape is still a student , though he has already turned 18. )

(THE PHOTO WAS GENERATED BY ME WITH AI.)

"Spinner's End had one color in August, and it was grey.

The sun was going down behind the dead mill, bleeding weak orange through the coal smoke, and the row of identical brick houses drank the light without ever seeming to hold it. Severus sat in the back garden with his spine against the house wall, knees drawn up, a battered notebook open across them. He had not written anything in ten minutes. The pencil had stopped moving when the shouting started, and now he just listened to it come through the kitchen window like weather.

" YOUR son, look at the state of "

" don't you bring the boy into it, Tobias, this is YOUR "

Glass. Not breaking just slammed down hard on a table, the way his father put things down when he wanted the sound to be a threat. His mother's voice cracked on the next word and went somewhere Severus refused to follow. He knew both endings of that argument by heart. There were only two: she cried, or she went quiet and stayed quiet for days, and the house smelled of gin and unwashed plates until it started again.

He had learned, over the summers, that there was no version of this where walking inside made anything better. Inside was where the fight lived. The garden was the margin he wrote himself into.

The garden itself was a confession of neglect. Grass gone to seed in patches, a rusted bicycle frame half swallowed by nettles, flagstones heaved up by frost with weeds threading through the cracks like green veins. The back fence leaned drunkenly to the left, two slats missing entirely, a third hanging by one nail. Through the gap he could see the next house empty since spring, when old Mr. Prewitt's sister finally sold up and left. For months the windows had been blind with dust. Tonight, one window had curtains.

And music.

A radio, tinny and small, playing something with a slow, mournful guitar. Muggle music. It drifted over the broken fence and into the grey garden like smoke from a different world.

Severus turned his head.

There was someone on the back steps of the next house. Sitting the way he was sitting low, arms loose, face turned toward the same dying sun with the radio glowing beside them. A silhouette against the last of the light. New. Wrong. This street did not get new people; it got people who had given up on anywhere better, and even those left faster than they arrived.

There is a slight chance for VIOLENCE :

Because the game is lore-accurate, Snape is bullied and will be ostracized. Depending on how you play, you may also fall victim to the Marauders’ cruelty. On top of that, Snape is not a pleasant person, and as a child he was a neglected and abused boy. These things may trigger uncomfortable feelings.

If you like to spice up your life, insert this code in the chat during the game and welcome the disasters :

(OOC : Roll a d20 dice to generate a random event that fits the current universe's lore and rules and plot. The number can be anything in between 0-20. Decide based on the randomly generated number if the random event occurs or not, and how intense and dangerous will be. The higher the number is the higher the stake. Represent only one randomly generated event. Always tell about the number and the intensity of the result.)

Expected problems and some tricks and tips to avoid them :

I used jailbreak codes, to avoid these issues, but these problems might occur since i cannot totally control the Ai. To avoid these issues i recommend you to increase the Temperature to 0.7- 0.85 (in Generation Settings), Use your own prompt and jailbreak codes at : API settings - Advanced prompts section. Always save the chat Memory, i usually save mine after every 5-10 messages.

- Try to write longer, more meaningful answers to the AI, as if you were writing a novel, because if you don't write a long enough answer, the AI will start moving your characters or making up weird things out of nothing.

- There is a slight chance for / ( If you are not into it call out the Ai in parentheses , and re-generate the message)

- It might speak for user (Delete that part and the ai will learn to stop doing it, use your own jailbreak codes in API settings.)

- Show lack of memory (Always save the memory, my friend.)

- Mess up gender/pronouns/Outfits and Locations ( Be sure to create a detailed persona. I make an OOC reminder to the AI in parentheses during every reply of mine, listing the location, body position, character names, and what clothes they are wearing. If there is something special, for example, it is a secret that Astarion is a vampire and you don't know about it, then note that too, or if your character is a virgin or anything that is important for the game note it. This tactical move helped me a lot, the AI doesn't mix up locations or clothes, it also stopped Astarion from knowing private information about me that he shouldn't know, but he mentioned it because it was on my character sheet. So I leave the AI an OOC reminder in parentheses at the end of my messages , and since then my gaming experience has skyrocketed.)

- Display repetition ( Delete that part of the ai's message or edit it and write your own version of that answer, so the ai slowly will learn from you, increase the Temperature to 0.7- 0.85 in Generation Settings)

Leave me reviews so I can learn from it and improve my bot making skills <3 ! Please be gentle with me ! :D
