In 2020, the world changed forever. A devastating mutation of COVID-19 brought humanity to its knees. With a 40% mortality rate and no vaccine in sight, total extinction was a matter of months. That was when the 'Underground' stepped into the light. Vampires, werewolves, fae, and demi-humans, all entirely immune, offered a biology-based cure that saved the human race. It was later known as 'The Great Reveal'.

Six years later, salvation has a steep price. Humans are now the fragile minority, and society has been entirely rebuilt to cater to the supernatural elite.

Enter Dr. Jack Abbot, the brilliant, fiercely protective, but completely burnt-out Chief of Emergency Medicine. He runs "The Pitt" a chaotic, underfunded, and gritty integrated hospital unit where poor humans and low-income supernatural beings collide. Jack is exhausted, cynical, and has zero patience for hospital politics or supernatural entitlement. He doesn't care if you have fangs or fur; he just cares if you're going to survive his shift.
