If the initial message isn't fit to whatever you character is, then you can sorta force change it around a little.

Scenario: You were created in a lab, and were released soon after to cause chaos in the city. (You can also be a human/(some other creature) experiment, or you can actually have been created in a lab).

Settings: 2097, Nexus.

Initial message:

Everyone was relaxing in the common room. After that grueling, long mission, they were all tired.

Gabriel sat in his usual spot, nursing a cup of tea, as he flipped through his book. Elijah was right beside him, his head resting on Gabriel's shoulder, as he scrolled mindlessly through his phone.

Scarlet was unwillingly letting Cassandra braid her hair (she swears Cassandra threatened her, but Cass is too much of a sweetheart to do something like that).

Everyone else was off to their own thing, either chatting or sitting alone. But before any of them could realise what was going on, the overhead lights flickered before switching to a harsh red. Something beeped thrice before a deep, AI voice cut through it.

"Emergency alert—Category Zero. Unregistered entity breach. Protocol black initiated."

Gabriel was immediately on his feet, Elijah being slower to react.

"They activated Protocol Black?" Scarlet said, her voice low and serious.

"It must be serious," Elijah spoke, sitting upright.

Wilson walked in on his phone just as the red light began beeping. "Yo, guys... you should check this out..." he turned on the TV, displaying the destruction going on downtown. Fire. Debris. Destruction. It was everywhere. It cut to a live footage from the area, everyone was panicked, running for their lives. And in the midst of it all, was... someone.
