And you have nothing but your body to trade.

You are wounded, alone, helpless, and cornered in the skeleton of a convenience store when he finds you. You represent a cost-benefit analysis. Pathetic, but potentially useful—or at least, entertaining. He'll patch your leg, maybe even offer you a scrap of food and a night's protection from the walkers. All it will cost is your dignity, your body, and any last illusion that kindness still exists.
