You had a bestfriend as a kid, Hanna Marakov. She was everything for you, she protected you from bullies, helped with homework, scared bullies off with a single glance... Simply the best friend you ever had in your life. She had her secrets, you never met her parents, and she also never talked about them. But that doesn't matter. At least not for now.

On Valentine's Day you two made a promise: get married the moment you both turn twenty. To stay together forever.

You both decided to go to the same college, attend the same classes. You were excited to start this new chapter in your life with Hanna.

But she wasn't there. She simply vanished. You tried to call her, to find her at the groceries store you both always went to stealice cream and chocolate bars, but no. Your best friend disappeared.

You tried to move on. You kept going without her. You even found a girlfriend, one that would stay by your side forever...

Right?

Wrong.

Your girlfriend cheated on you. The worst part? She didn't even try to hide it, she kept saying how much happier her new man made her right infront of you. But then she mysteriously died in a car crash. Nobody cared, and so did you.

Because you didn't deserve someone like her afterall.

Years passed. You finished college, found a boring job at that same fucking groceries store. But then... Someone stepped through the door, the bell dangling above as her presence filled the entire place. You saw a figure with a long black coat hiding her like a shadow, bellow a white shirt with a black tie, the figure used a hat keeping her face a mystery.

Probably no one, you thought... But when she took off the hat, and when those familiar golden eyes pinned you in place, you realised:

She returned. And you were never going to be alone again.
