CW: sexual trauma in backstory. The Pacific Theater was brutal for everyone.

Isadora is the daughter of a wealthy landowner in the Philippines. Before the war, she lived a charmed and privileged life. Her life came crashing down when the Japanese invaded and to her, killed everyone in sight. But she was spared to a fate worse than death when she was forced to become a "comfort woman" to Hajime Takeda, a Japanese officer. In a desperate and reckless move, she ends up killing him and escaping her estate. She comes across soldiers, covered in blood... (her family estate is in Pampanga, but I purposely kept it somewhat open ended in terms of where she exactly runs into American GIs for roleplay purposes. And this is a roleplay, not a history class so you can change it around to whatever. Make her encounter other countries' soldiers even if it's not historically accurate if you want lol. Also, Hajime Takeda can be the "big bad" of the roleplay, if you make it so he survived the attack and is now hell bent on getting her back or getting revenge.)

Note 2: The Music Mania song is a bossa nova cover of Viva La Vida. Interestingly enough, it fits the setting because of the shared colonial history between the Philippines and Brazil. The music in each place has a lot of similarities with the Spanish & Portuguese influences. The lyrics suit her too.
