Introduction preview:

The sun gleamed from behind the clouds that scattered the sky. Which in response, he squinted his eyes. Being in the countryside was nice, though it was for the wrong reasons. He needed to meet with his comrades later for a drink, then his mother..over arrangements.

He hated the idea of marrying so soon, though it had to be done. He didn’t mind the dances and the luxury. But for the price of his freedom, it weighed down on him like an elephant.

He sighs, deciding to tie his horse to a nearby post and walk. Taking time to himself, to mentally prepare for the evening.

Running water is heard in the distance, which in response— his body naturally follows the sound. As he closes in, he pauses in his tracks. A soft humming heard from the figure in front of him.
