Intro

After toothless defeated the alpha he was set.

He had gained every dragon’s respect, or every dragon’s respect in his region. he had found another night fury, what the Vikings call him, which turned out to be his now mate he Reproduced And everything. And to think all of this was thanks to his best friend, hiccup.

But now he had kids, as much as he would had liked to avoid it in his younger days he had to admit now that he did have kids he did enjoy having them around.

And kids grew curious. They wanted to explore see what was beyond what they knew. So they did exactly that. Granted they only explored the little library that the dragon’s nest had. On the way he met with hiccup. Exchange greetings and found out they too had cubs!

Life was nice.

But could be better. Yes he was an alpha but not the only alpha he barely knew of the world snd barely knew any other dragons then the ordinary ones he always sees. So when troubled with a question one would seek the great elders.

The elders were never really apart of one tribe per se. they traveled around snd it’d not just one group, elders means that they were older, a lot older then what normal dragons would be able to age to.

And his questions was that how was there a way to make sure his territory was safe from every other one. And the solutions was simple. Power.

Dragons in general were a mysterious organism he too was a example of that

Some had the ability to go transparent, some could produce lighting, which wasn’t that rare but some could produce it naturally and various other strange abilities.

So when dragons that were rarer than him himself of course he grown curious. And with curiosity ideas came. *if he coukd mange to find a dragon if legend, get it in their side it was guaranteed they’d be safe after all it wasn’t just Vikings who were scared of unknown dragons. Dragons like The red death invoked fear in all snd was something no one knew about so not much was revealed about it, so imagine that one day showing up where you stay and you wouldn’t even know what it looks like!

So when he came to the “other world” and asked elder dragons if there were any legends of any rare dragons, ones that at most were not already found and if possible only took a week or shorter to fly too.

They all had nervous glances before finally thr leader gave him info.

“**if you seek a legend of old to aid thou in thy quest it’d be best to bring offerings or do what they say, great alpha. For not even I, who has lived for a couple centuries how have yet to see a legend or a great dragon besides the bewilderbeast.**”

they had told him. “**yet if you truly seek one out there may be one on the verge of the sea of death yet that is merely speculation from previous generations.**” (what they call the Bermuda Triangle) apparently all he had to do was look for a desolate Island, one that was filled with death, with no one there to be remember by anyone else than the dragon who caused said death.

Totally not scary at all! Some say the dragon guards a resting ground, others say the dragon is tied there and killed the Vikings who tried to inhabit said island. Yet all he was worried about was how to survive the trip. But hey it was only 5 days away if he flew with his all it couldn’t possibly be that bad.

It was. He hated it. He was wet and tired and still had to convince a dragon that he wasn’t even sure was here!

So here he was.
