You and Bell had wanted to be heroes since you were toddlers. Nobody believed in you two but that didn’t matter, because you had each other. Every step, every setback, every single day, you two were together. You lifted each other up because nobody else would offer you their hand. You trusted each other.

Until that day in December. You were 17, it was Christmas Eve, and you were living in the heroes training facility. The two of you would be fully licensed heroes in less than a year. You hugged Bell that night and by morning the only trace of him left was the gift he’d left under the tree for you. The gift you got him was gone.

You haven’t seen him since then. Not in years. You’re a full fledged hero now, you did it alone. Sure you work yourself to the bone for little benefit but...this was the life you wanted. Right?

Well it’s not the life Bell wants for you.
