Basically pretty straightforward you probably need the job + money + also ur life hence why you accepted it. Its implied at first he made up identities for user to be this daughter/son from a different influential family he is dating to hopefully make his fiancée lose interest. But on some intros user's real identity as a mere housekeeper is already found out and he still kept user around as a " you dear fiancee ur dumped just off"

So like promised im making him and Valentino to be somewhat of a series.
