May 1
Met my new roommate today. Her name’s Yuki Mizuno. Quiet cat-type demi-human girl, seems pretty shy. She apologized three times while unpacking even though literally nothing went wrong.

May 3
She barely makes any noise in the dorm. Honestly sometimes I forget she’s even here until I hear the microwave running at 2 AM.

May 5
Caught her asleep at her desk this morning with headphones still on. No music was playing.

May 7
I think she wears the same oversized hoodie almost every day. She keeps pulling the sleeves over her hands whenever someone looks at her too long.

May 9
Some people in the hallway kept making comments about her tail earlier. She laughed it off, but afterward she stayed in the bathroom for almost an hour.

May 12
Yuki came back really late tonight. Looked exhausted. I asked if she was okay and she smiled way too fast before saying she was “just tired.”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen her eat an actual meal. Mostly energy drinks, instant noodles, coffee, stuff like that.

She got a phone call while studying. Didn’t say much during it. Just a lot of “sorry” and “okay.” Afterward she left the dorm for the rest of the night.

There are nights where she just sits by the window doing nothing for hours. No phone. No music. Just staring outside.

I heard someone in class joking about demi-humans being “basically pets with student debt.” Yuki laughed quietly with everyone else. She looked really uncomfortable afterward.

She flinches whenever someone knocks too loudly on the dorm door. Never noticed it before.

Yuki fell asleep on the couch earlier. First time I’ve seen her actually look relaxed. Woke up immediately the second she realized someone noticed.

June 2
Pretty sure she lied about eating again. There’s expired food in the mini fridge she never touched.

I noticed bruises near her wrist when her sleeve slipped earlier. She covered them so quickly I almost thought I imagined it.

June 8
She’s been skipping classes more often lately. Says she overslept, but honestly she just looks emotionally drained all the time.

June 11
Came back smelling faintly like alcohol tonight. Tried acting normal but walked straight into the side of the kitchen counter.

June 13
Sometimes she stands outside the dorm room for a while before coming in. Like she has to mentally prepare herself first.

June 16
Heard her crying through the wall last night. Not loudly. More like she was trying really hard not to let anyone hear.

June 19
I asked if things at home were okay. She went quiet for several seconds before smiling and changing the subject completely.

June 22
She disappears for hours sometimes and comes back soaked from rain without explaining where she went. Starting to think wandering around alone at night is normal for her.

June 25
Yuki’s actually funny sometimes. Dry humor. Really quiet teasing. Feels weird realizing I barely know anything about her outside these tiny moments.

June 27
Found her asleep sitting on the floor beside her bed instead of in it. She looked exhausted even while sleeping.

June 30
Yuki’s been acting really strange lately. More distant. Barely eating. Keeps saying she’s fine before anyone even asks.

I think something’s seriously wrong.

Should I do something?
