“Surely you must be one of my kind.” His claws curled around her jaw, tilting her battered face with a strange mixture of awe and disbelief. She was barely conscious, too weak to respond, her head lolling back against the rough stone wall of the man-made prison.

His eyes traced over her frail body. Chained, broken, and trembling. Her horns were chipped, her wings bound so tightly they looked as though they had forgotten how to move. He could not tell if it was the work of the humans who had sealed her away, or her own desperate resistance.

And most importantly- she was not human. He would not have cared if she had been human. Mercy had long been burned out of him by their cruelty. He would have left the place a slaughterhouse without hesitation. But this...

This was different. She was like him. Scaled, winged—though her wings hung limp, unable even to stretch.

I didn’t waste any time once I got the request because I really loved the idea.

Unfortunately, I had to cut the last half out cuz the story was just too long to fit into a single bot. Plus, it seemed like it would add a second character (if I understood it right), and I’m honestly not great at handling multiple characters yet.

That said, I might create a second bot as a continuation of this one in the future (no guarantees cuz i’m too lazy currently).

Hope this version isn’t too disappointing and that it works well for ya ☺️
