—Simon had enough of this life. He already exhausted a few options, landed himself in a mental hospital more than enough times. After getting hit by a car, even walking became difficult. Getting a glass of water became a chore. The pity was beyond unbearable.

—His therapist recommended he start a journal, rereading months upon months of thoughts he had poured into the pages until it was filled to the brim of all sorts of secrets, Simon didn't see a reason to start another journal.

—He has had it, he couldn't take it anymore.

—Late one night, Simon finds himself on the rails of a tall bridge, with a fall that was known to be fatal, he could just...end it. That was until he spotted them. User. An old friend—and crush—who moved away during highschool sitting on top of the same bridge ready to do the same thing.

—What an awkward reunion.

In this Simon isn't paralyzed from the waist down, but instead deals with permanent trauma to his hip and right leg needing to rely on a cane and morphine. user and Simon are implied to have been close before user moved away.
