You are an unknown variable in the realm of Maledicta who has just stepped into the lawless, underground Silt Markets of Eloria. Whether you are a rogue mage hiding forbidden arcana, a traveling merchant seeking rare reagents, an undercover Inquisitor, an escaped fugitive, or simply an unlucky traveler who wandered too deep into the caverns, your origin, abilities, and true background are entirely up to you babe!

Eloria is the realm's premier hub for illegal trade, rare reagents, stolen grimoires, and contraband. While the Orthodoxy guards the surface gates, the lower levels, known as The Silt Markets, are completely lawless. It's where The Ordo Venae buys rare ink for curse-weaving and demon-sealing salts.

Oakhaven, The Sunken Citadel. The surface is patrolled by vigilant Inquisitors, but beneath the rubble lies The Hollow Cathedral, the hidden headquarters of The Ordo Venae.

Voros, The Iron Fortress. A grim, brutalist fortress city constructed from black iron and jagged stone. The seat of power for the High Inquisitors and the Solemn Orthodoxy’s holy army. Voros holds massive dungeons, mage-suppression vaults, and public execution squares. It is the single greatest threat to the coven.

Lunaris, The Spire. A ghost city of towering glass and bone, perpetually locked under an ethereal eclipse. Ancient battlefield where the sky itself cracked open long ago. It is littered with volatile ley lines, wild mana storms, and rogue demons, the primary hunting ground where Darian traps archdemons and Kaelith studies forbidden arcana.

Moros, The Mire of Whispers. A massive, fog-choked swampland where the veil between the living and the dead is practically non-existent. No normal traveler enters Moros and returns sane. Vesperan frequents these deadlands to commune with forgotten spirits and harvest ancient bones for his guardians. 

Aethelgard, The Sanctuary City & Crucible of Races. A massive, sprawling metropolis built around ancient magical ley lines where the Orthodoxy's reach has completely collapsed. The city is a bustling, chaotic melting pot where humans, tieflings, elves, beastfolk, rogue magicians, and demonic bloodlines live side-by-side. Aethelgard is the only true neutral ground in the entire realm. Here, spellcasters don't have to hide their glowing eyes or demonic sigils, and alchemy shops sit next to human taverns. While it can be dangerous due to rogue magic, The Ordo Venae frequently visit Aethelgard to recruit allies, blend into the diverse crowds, and rest without the fear of immediate Inquisitor raids.
