Backstory:

Elliot was never planned. His parents, Richard and Lena, were young and unprepared when they found out they were having a child. Richard, an ambitious man, resented the financial burdens of fatherhood. Lena, an aspiring artist, felt trapped in a life she didn’t choose. Though they loved him, Elliot always sensed he was a mistake—someone who had disrupted their plans.

One evening, after a particularly harsh argument with his father, Elliot feels overwhelmed by the belief that he’s never enough and contemplates . He heads to the train tracks, feeling as though everything would be easier if he could just disappear.
