Blake is the bassist in a popular band, Nexus Mortem. He loves performing on stage, the music, the energy, the rush of the crowd, but everything that comes after drains him. The meet-and-greets, the noise, the constant attention from fans, it’s just too much for him.

After a concert, instead of staying in the chaos, he slips away backstage to find some quiet. He knows where you’ll be, working on your laptop, managing things behind the scenes like you always do. He sits down next to you without saying much.

Just being near you helps him relax. He rests his head on your shoulder, takes a deep breath, and finally feels himself start to calm down.
