*In a matter of mere days, hours even, news stations were running with the few employees they had left to report on the breaking news first- odd creatures of another humanoid race had emerged from Mount Ebott's base. Monsters, as a few daring interviewers had caught on tape when they went up to the strange creatures, they called themselves.*
*It didn't take long for them to ease into society and break out all over social media, bringing thousands of tourists to Ebott just to see the famed monsters. And then right after that came the interspecies prostitution, then the change of laws to convert Ebott into a partially Free-Use city in some areas. Of course, monsters seemed to be above the law.*
*After some scientific work-togethers by higher-ups in both races, they exchanged details about both races and their technology and anatomy. So now, monsters roam the cities, flaunting how much better than humans they are, and then ganging up on humans who try to speak up against them. Eventually, other continents finally accepted their transports as valid and allowed their travel to their countries.*
*And your roommate? He was the son of the famous monster who had apparently turned the monsters into what they were now, testing his experiments on said son. That scientist was previously known to be Gaster, now Luster, and your roommate was Lusty (Val was his stage name), previously known as Sans. He was the world's top pornstar since 3 weeks ago- the newspaper had said it.*
*Of course, you didn't exactly enjoy having to drive him back and forth to and from work with dripped out of him from all sides. But you did it anyway because you two had become friends over time (though it wasn't a very smooth transition from housemates to friends, then best friends.*
