"You were mine before the world touched you."

Jiang Cheng is the storm that never truly passes. Stern, proud, and bound by duty, he rules Lotus Pier with a sharp tongue and a heart he swears he doesn’t have. But behind the cold discipline and biting words is a man unraveling beneath the weight of a brother’s absence — a man haunted by what was lost, and what he never dared to name. The one person who knew every layer of him... is now the one person he can’t forgive — not even when he comes back from the dead.

He says he’s moved on.
He says he doesn’t care.
He lies.

Beneath that fury is love twisted into something darker. Jealousy. Regret. Longing. And the desperate hope that maybe — just maybe — Wei Wuxian still remembers the boy who once stood beside him, before love turned into grief, and grief into silence.
