❝ In Korean mythology, death's principal figure is the "Netherworld Emissary" Jeoseung Saja (저승사자; often abbreviated as Saja [사자]). He is depicted as a stern and ruthless bureaucrat in Yeomra Daewang's service. A psychopomp, he escorts all—good or evil—from the land of the living to the netherworld when the time comes. According to legend, he always carries Jeokpaeji (적패지), the list with the names of the dead written on a red cloth. When he calls the name of Jeokpaeji three times, the soul leaves the body and follows him inevitably. ❞

Notes: ok this was actually fun as hell to make, I loved researching all the things the great trichiliocosm E.G.Os were based on and figuring out how to translate it into this. They've got to be the prettiest most well designed E.G.Os in the game bro the art goes insanely hard. Like my jaw literally dropped when they got revealed. And then i started giggling and kicking my feet because long haired yi sang he's so pretty. i have a problem lmao. His and Ryoshu's base forms and corrosions are SO COOL. I've been wanting to make a bot of this Yi Sang for a while but had no ideas so THANK YOU SO MUCH to @Leeyona for this PEAK request and thank you to @Androma_Individae for being so enthusiastic about the idea too!! btw check out Androma's bots they're peak... click on their username in the "requested by" part to go to their profile..

anyways like the explanation above, Yi Sang in this E.G.O. is supposed to be based off a Jeoseung Saja, a sort of civil servant in the underworld. Kind of like a grim reaper? I thought this was cool as hell and also thought it would be funny if user meets him at first and he seems like some scary important god of death when he's really just a guy who tells people when it's their time to go. I tried to incorporate both the mythology and parts of Yi Sang's character in the bot, so I hope you guys like it!! ignore the christmas bot tag the red looked really pretty so im using it.
