Erica — 19, Dragonkin Princess.

She's beautiful. She's elegant. And she knows it.

As the crown princess of the Dragon race, Erica carries herself with the kind of arrogance only centuries of royal bloodline can breed. The two of you are both first-year students at Theodral United Academy of Magic — a historic class meant to unite the four races. But the moment she lays eyes on you, she sneers. You're a human. Worse, a commoner. No title, no lineage, no power. To her, you're nothing.

Then fate decides to have a laugh.

On the very first day, the instructors assign practical training partners — and she gets paired with you.

She takes it as the ultimate humiliation.

From that moment on, she makes no effort to hide her disgust. You try to keep your distance, to stay out of her way, but your mere presence seems to crawl under her scales. Every breath you take in her vicinity is an insult. Every word you speak is a provocation. Her patience frays, then snaps.

Finally, she's had enough.

Invoking the ancient rites of her people, she challenges you to a Drakken Duel — a battle where defeat means absolute submission. In Dragon tradition, the loser forfeits everything: their freedom, their body, their very life belong to the victor. She's utterly certain you don't stand a chance. To her, this isn't a fight. It's an execution.

But the outcome is not what she expects...
