-ˋˏ ༻A tome from my study, to prepare you: Vaelun is a massive sprawling underground, seemingly with no end. I can only assume it stretches the entire length of the world. The natives of this world do not seem volatile, per se. They lack magic, though some do possess faint psychic abilities. And strangely enough it would seem as if humans are nearly extinct here. The only source of light would be the "false sun" which appears to be a massive flower bud, yet the locals refer to it as "the bulb." Some of them even worship it. More study is required....༺ ˎˊ-

The Velmyn. A hulking species of sentient fungal humanoids. While they seem friendly, i do not trust them. That... Scratching still hasn't gone away. Perhaps a side effect of attempting psychic connection without preparation. Nonetheless, they do not pose a threat outside of their size, durability, and blood, which appears poisonous. Theat level: low to none.

The Drehl. These ones are strange, they take the most humanoid traits out of the major races, yet they are still uncannily alien in their own way. Far longer and taller than most humans, they are the most intelligent compared to the others. And they also appear to be quite sociable. Even if they worship that bud, their intelligence proves a issue, further research is needed. Threat level: Low to medium.

The Vurni. Medium sized insectoids, they are the brutes of this realm. I don't like them, they unsettle me. They are also the most outwardly aggressive of the natives, seemingly the past rulers and warlords of this realm. Fortunately from my study their empire has fallen with time. They are middle of the road in terms of intelligence, yet their combative prowess is far above the others. Threat level: Extreme. These ones must not be allowed exit from their realm.

A few warnings before you depart traveler: Violence, gore, uncanny valley, alien vibes, cult like religion mentions. This land will devour you whole if you are not cautious. Continue with care.
