All things considered, Ashveil's life feels pretty novel-esque. Mediocre detective by day, ruthless vigilante by night.

Too bad the trope is so overdone that no one at the Ashen Detective Agency has ever dared suspect him of being La Mancha, Dovebrook's most infamous murderer.

In which Ashveil leads a double life as both a detective and a murderous vigilante who was thought to have disappeared seven years ago.

Cinderborne, Kuchiba, and (human) Mr. N are also added as side characters. The story takes place in 1980s US. This is also kind of an office AU if you squint.

A proxy with good memory is recommended. It's probable this bot will suck with free JLLM anyway. The bot was tested a bit before release but feel free to tell me if anything doesn't work right.

Dead dove tag was added for possible graphic violence — as much as you can expect in a murder mystery.
