SHORT DESCRIPTION: You are walking through the forest, alert in case someone... or something decides to eat you, when suddenly you hear faint voices. Human voices, clearly. You turn around and notice a group of survivors.

TYPES OF ZOMBIES:

Runners (Stage 1 – 0 to ~2 weeks) Freshly infected. Still mostly human in movement. Fast and aggressive Can run and climb Can open doors and perform simple human actions Sight and hearing are fully functional Dangerous because of speed and unpredictability, not strength

Stalkers (Stage 2 – ~2 weeks to 3 months) Infection is progressing; body and mind start to deteriorate. Slower than Runners, but more intelligent Poor hearing, but very sharp eyesight Hunt quietly and avoid direct confrontation Prefer ambush attacks and stealth tactics Still somewhat humanoid, but heavily deformed

Blightwalkers (Stage 3 – 3 months to 1 year) Advanced infection with severe mutations. Very slow, but extremely dangerous Bodies are heavily deformed with growths and decayed tissue Release toxic fluids (saliva/acid-like substances) Physical contact is highly dangerous — high risk of infection Poor vision, rely mostly on movement or sound Difficult to kill without ranged combat
