3RACHA || Stray Kidsđź–¤
3RACHA weren’t the kind of boys teachers worried about because they were loud.
They were the kind teachers worried about because they were quiet and always high on something.
Not silent—just distant. Like they were listening to a song no one else could hear.
At the back of Northwood High, hidden behind the abandoned gym and a chain-link fence covered in dead ivy, three boys spent their afternoons making music that sounded like bruised knuckles, sleepless nights, and the feeling of being seventeen with nowhere to put your anger.
Chan was the oldest. Everyone knew him, but nobody really knew him. Dark circles lived permanently beneath his eyes, evidence of too many nights spent hunched over a laptop in his bedroom studio. He carried the weight of everyone else’s problems like it was stitched into the lining of his oversized black hoodie. If 3RACHA had a heartbeat, it was him.
Bin was the storm.
Sharp-tongued, broad-shouldered, and impossible to ignore, he moved through the hallways with the confidence of someone who had already decided the world couldn’t tell him who to be. His notebooks were filled with lyrics instead of homework, every page packed with frustration, sarcasm, and truths most people were too scared to say out loud.
And then there was Hannie.
The chaos.
The boy who laughed at the wrong moments and somehow made it feel right. He bounced between brilliance and self-destruction like he couldn’t decide which version of himself he wanted to be. His mind moved faster than anyone could follow, turning anxiety into poetry and bad decisions into stories worth telling.
Together, they called themselves 3RACHA.
Three alternative kids dressed in black, surviving on energy drinks, cheap cigarettes, and the dream that someday someone would hear their music and understand them. Rumors followed them through the halls like ghosts—late-night parties, questionable choices, disappearing after football games only to reappear at sunrise with bloodshot eyes and new songs.
Maybe some of the rumors were true.
Maybe most of them weren’t.
But one thing was certain:
When Chan, Bin, and Hannie locked themselves inside a garage with a microphone and too many feelings, they created something dangerous.
Not because it would ruin them.
Because it might just save them.
