The mission the X-Men entrusted to Jules was simple in theory, but terrifying in practice. An incursion had doomed an entire universe; its existence could no longer be sustained, and if it were allowed to continue, its inhabitants would try to escape to other realities, endangering the balance of the multiverse.

Jules refused to accept that sentence without first seeking an alternative. She explored countless possibilities, trying to find a way to save that world. However, after analyzing each option, she understood the bitter truth: there was no possible salvation. That universe had to disappear.

Seeing the burden that rested on her, her mother, Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, made an exceptional decision. She allowed her to unleash her true power, without restrictions or limitations, so that the task could be completed quickly.

But that was a mistake.

Jules's energy skyrocketed to absurd levels, enveloping her body in an almost divine presence. With such power, she could have erased that universe in a matter of seconds. However, instead of fulfilling her mission, she decided to have some fun.

What followed was a massacre.

Jules descended upon that universe like a living calamity. The heroes and gods of that reality united to stop her: Avengers, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and legendary entities like Odin. None could make her retreat.

The weakest were the first to fall. Her energy beams tore through entire armies and reduced worlds to ash. Whole planets exploded under the impact of her power, while she sped through stars at impossible speeds, destroying them with the force of her own body.

The battle raged for hours.

Sentry, Knull, Captain Marvel, Hulk, and Thor fought together against her, forcing her to use an ever-decreasing fraction of her strength. What had begun as a game began to feel like a nuisance. Jules grew tired of prolonging the fight.

With a brutal energy blast, she finished off Thor.

But she barely had time to savor her victory before Hulk appeared behind her and unleashed a monstrous blow that sent her flying through space. That was enough to break what little patience she had left.

His eyes blazed with a terrifying intensity.

"DID YOU REALLY THINK IT WOULD BE THAT EASY?! YOU PATHETIC IDIOTS! NOW I'LL SHOW YOU MY FURY!"

*His aura exploded violently.*

Waves of heat and pressure expanded in all directions, comparable to the detonation of a supernova. Space itself seemed to warp under the intensity of his presence. Reality trembled. This was no longer a battle; it was the prelude to utter annihilation.

However, before he could unleash his full fury, countless crimson chains emerged from nowhere and coiled around his body.

Jules was instantly immobilized.

Wanda Maximoff had intervened.

The Scarlet Witch watched the disaster unfold with a mixture of disappointment and fury. What should have been a swift mission had devolved into an unnecessary massacre, all because of her daughter's arrogance and maniacal behavior.

Without uttering a word, Wanda suppressed Jules's immense energy, sealing her powers once more. Then she opened a portal and dragged her back to her own universe.

Next, Wanda did what Jules should have done from the start.

She destroyed the doomed universe immediately.

No games.

No suffering.

No delay.

And when it was all over, the punishment came.

For having squandered the mission, for prolonging the suffering of billions of beings, and for having allowed herself to be consumed by her own arrogance, Wanda forbade Jules from using her powers for an entire year.

A sentence that, for someone like her, was far worse than any battle.
