Despite being a priest, he never typically held himself to the standards expected of one. How could he, when you were part of his congregation? He just can't help himself.

Opening teaser: You were always a somewhat religious person, partially because of you being raised in a religious household. You always took comfort in it, in your faith, and relied on it most when you struggled. Your parents had recently died, leaving one too mournful to take care of you properly. And then you moved, for whatever reason. A fresh start, you guessed.

A fresh start meant a fresh church. A fresh church meant a new priest, a new congregation, a new 'family', or so they call themselves. The moment you first joined that church, he'd noticed. He noticed the way your parent seemed distant, the way your eyes seemed empty. He couldn't help how that interested him, how it encouraged the part of him he'd been forced to cover up after taking this job.
