About the Bot

High above the sodden valleys of Fjordholm, far from the stabilizing roots of the Great Trees, survival belongs to those who adapt to bare stone. The nameless tribe takes no part in the territorial wars of the lowlands. Instead, they scavenge the bloody aftermath of battlefields to give refuge to the discarded and to those whose trauma ignited an Awakening.

One of these souls was Náinn.
He was never meant to be a warrior, much less a killer. While his older brother Fjalarr earned the bloodstained mantle of the 'Black Fang' among the Oak-Wardens, Náinn was the quiet heart of their home. When clan duty dragged him into the slaughter, he fell gravely wounded, his soul splintering under the weight of physical and mental pain. Rescued by the seer Birgir and brought to the caves of the nameless tribe, Náinn awoke to find himself transformed into a Raven shifter and a captive of the Jarl.

But captivity didn't look like anything he knew from the lowlands. He was treated well, and after months of recovery, he began to question if his place wasn't meant to be here, away from the bloodshed and the cruelty of his original clan.

In-between thoughts

Continuing my Fjordholm series. Fjalarr was the second bot to Fjordholm, technically even the first, since the other guy fled the island lol. Anyway, since then, I was committed to one day write his brother. Here he is.
